Tent Living: Baby Atliah Jacinth Fernandez Riguerra!

by: Mhe-anne L. Ojeda

SUMMER is IN and so is CAMPING Lifestyle! With LOTS of people (almost everyone) wanting to escape the summer heat, hearing people living in tents is no longer news, right? Nah! if you are talking about a three-week old baby living in tent! And that's what exactly Atliah Jacinth Fernandez Riguerra loves doing.

Atliah Jacinth is the first baby of my friend couple Alexis Aubrey Fernandez (probably why Atliah) and Joselito Riguerra (reason for the second name Jacinth spelled with a J) when she adopted the "earliest living lifestyle of mankind" - living in a tent outdoor in lieu of indoor living.

Falling asleep on tent set up just outside the door of their house seems so much easier for Atliah Jacinth. I guess she can't handle the heat and the not-so - fresh air coming from electric fans inside the house, and prefers the natural fresh air outside. Her mom AA usually nurse her to sleep while in tent! She just looks adorable and a cute baby camper!

  6. yea @Mary Jane she is so cute. I was surprised to see her sleeping soundly in tent! it would be great to try that.I did it in Calaguas Island in Camarines Norte and super nice experience. @Yuuki their tent is very safe coz it still under the roof, inside a gated house. It was just more windy compared to inside so baby Atliah loves it!

  10. Tent living for the baby? Doesn't have any side effect on baby's sleeping attitude when he's/she's inside the house?

  11. yea @Chrisair it is a camping tent and baby's mom and dad sleep there with the baby of course haha. they just got out of the tent when i visited them!@ alright, go cat camping carissa!! @Gil, there is side effect but a good one since the baby are able to breath fresh air. maybe during cooler months the baby will be ok being inside the house. just like us - we all want to be outside during the summer months!!!

  18. wow so cute. she must've been feeling so comfortable in there. sweet soul that would feel much of the tenderness and warmth inside her own sacred place. I'd love to have some for my kids too especially on our summer getaways:)

  22. Very clever, creative and nurturing parents from baby Atliah Jacinth.

I think it's great when parents adapt to the needs of a baby, and sleeping is one of the most important basic needs. Babies need a lot of patience at the beginning of their lives, that all their needs are met to establish trust.

Thanks for reminding me of the fun of using a tent! Our girls have not had the opportunity to sleep outdoors in a tent yet. Something my hubby and I would love to do with them.
