"START BEING" Monday Series: GRATEFUL

by: Mhe-anne L. Ojeda

GRATEFUL ("Thou shalt thank the Lord thy God in all things" - Doctrine and Covenants 59:7)I have a lot of people to thank and a lot of things I am grateful of so I'm sure I will win in the "gratitude contest" if there's one. So let me start today with my prince and his Kindle Touch err his gift of gadget, the easy -on-the -eye Kindle Touch E-reader!   He gave it to me last Christmas and loaded it with the full set of LDS eLibrary.
Now I can read my scriptures anytime, anywhere and in any position, with one hand and will not suffer eye fatigue with the crisp, print-like text, hand-built fonts that can be adjusted to suit my needs!

Who or what are you thankful for? Shout it out!
*This is part of a series of 2012 Monday post inspired by Leigh Anne Jasheway-Bryant's Stop DoingStart Being article on Family Circle Magazine April 1, 2005 issue. What she said about having so many "to-do" list and trying hard everyday to check off the list hit so close to home! I agree with her that what I need is a list to help me be who I want to be, both for myself and others. Click START BEING Monday Series for other virtues we can emulate!

  1. showing gratefulness is a Filipino virtue... i just hope we limit it to something good and productive. Yahweh bless.

  3. Being grateful is like paying homage. When you are grateful the world will appreciate you more.
