I've been traversing Katipunan in Quezon City regularly for the last five (5) years on my way to work. I know almost all the shops and restos and have eaten in all of them at least once. My favorites are Kitaro (for the miso soup after skipping lunch and Ebi Tempura), Lola Idangs (for its lugaw, to sit in well on an empty stomach) and Gateau de Manille (for its Pesto pasta). Lately I was thrilled with two (2) new additions - Mad About Yogurt and Moonsees!
MAD ABOUT YOGURT
Oh how love yogurt! I jumped for joy seeing a shop nearby to get my favorite yogurt, a dairy product produced by bacterial fermentation of milk.
Monsees Cafe is a shop where I can get my favorite breadsticks! Breadsticks(or grissini) are generally pencil-sized sticks of crispy, dry bread.Because I don't really eat bread and my eating habits is bizarre, it is perfect to have supply of the different flavored breadsticks for emegency.
