The family is hooked. Everyone enjoys cycling now. We know that life is like a race!!!
After Church service, my family went to Ayala Avenue to witness the last stage of the nine-day foreign spiced race of the Tour of Luzon 2010 where my friend Reid Mumford is participating under the US Kelly Benefit Strategies Pro Cycling Team. The race is a 21 laps, 2.7 kilometers criterium along Ayala Avenue circuit.
After Stage 8 in Subic, the team still has a great chance of getting the Overall Team and Individual Champion awards being the leading in the Team ranking and with David Veilleux in second place, only 11.2 seconds behind EMG rider. With only three KBS remaining riders, we know that Reid, David and Chene will have a hard time but is capable of getting the top awards.
After the photo finish, KBS was declared the Overall Team Champion and David getting the Overall Leader for Under 23 and finishing 2nd Overall in the General Classification. Reid finished in the 10th place while Chene Hoag landed in the 19th place among the 60 riders for the whole tour.
