"Make new friends and keep the old, one is silver and the other gold"
"Acacia Ward Friends: 20 Years Later" dinner get-together at Italianis resto in Eastwood was really a blast. Well, it was a decade only for most of them, but for me and my brothers who left Acacia Ward in 1990 (after being a member for 3 years), it was actually two decades of catching up. It was great to catch up with friends like Roy Nicomedes (who is now based in Perth, Australia), Issel Leon, Vergilio Alim, Nyhil Solomon and Lloyd Flores. Can't believe how time flies. But the memories of great times with them remained as vivid as it could get and so nice to reminisce and re-tell them!
This coming January 15, 2010, we are holding a reunion gathering at Max Fried Chicken at Quezon City Circle to include more friends in the circle! I'm really looking forward to the event! The venue is quite fitting because as the old adage by an unknown author goes "A circle is round it has no end, that's how long I want to be your friend!" Yes! I'm sure that the original Acacia Ward Youth and Youth leaders want to keep the friendship forever!
