Be a Lamp, a Lifeboat and a Ladder

by: Mhe-anne L. Ojeda

"Be a lamp, a lifeboat, a ladder. Help someone's soul heal. Let God use you today that others may also see the glory He has allowed you through His love"

I got this text message today from Sister Margo, a sister from Deparo Ward whom I am assigned to visit teach. This is a very good reminder to me to always be a blessing to others by illuminating the mind or soul, rescuing lives and helping others to get to the top or advance in life.

Lamp is a device that generates light, heat, or therapeutic radiation.

Lifeboat is a shore-based structure designed for searching for, rescuing and saving the lives of people in peril at sea in inshore waters.

Ladder -is a vertical or inclined set of rungs or steps. There are two types: rigid ladders that can be leaned against a vertical surface such as a wall, and rope ladders that are hung from the top.
